About Me
More than 20 years ago, I began my journey of sobriety, a turning point that inspired me to pursue clinical social work. My desire was to better understand addiction, healing, and family systems, and to use that knowledge to make a meaningful impact. Along the way, I've discovered the power of authentic connection, the importance of presence, and the privilege of supporting individuals and families during some of life's toughest transitions.

I earned my Master's in Clinical Social Work from the University of Houston. My experience includes working in both inpatient and outpatient addiction treatment, as well as in acute psychiatric care at the Menninger Clinic in Houston, a nationally respected leader in mental health. In my work, I observed how addiction often intersects with divorce, affecting couples and their families. This experience led me to become a Certified Divorce Coach®, with a specialization in Divorce Transition and Recovery®, so I could better guide clients through the unique dynamics of divorce, especially when addiction is part of the picture. This blend of clinical training and coaching expertise gives me a unique perspective, one that bridges the clinical side of recovery with the real-world challenges families face as they move forward.

Over time, I recognized a gap in care. Many people who had done significant recovery work still felt stuck or uncertain about what came next. Families often felt lost too, unsure how to support their loved one in sobriety. I saw both the individual and the family struggling. This insight led me to expand beyond the clinical setting into coaching, where I help people not only maintain sobriety, but also create purposeful, thriving lives beyond it.

Today, I support individuals in long-term sobriety, families impacted by addiction, and people navigating divorce. I encourage clients to stay true to their values, envision what's possible, and take steady steps toward it. My goal is simple: to help you move forward with strength, direction, and a sense of possibility.

No matter where you are in your journey, lasting change is possible - and you don't have to do it alone.
