About Me

More than 20 years ago, I began my journey of sobriety, a turning point that inspired me to pursue clinical social work.  I wanted to better understand addiction, healing, and family systems, and to use that knowledge to make a meaningful impact. Along the way, I've come to value the power of authentic connection, the importance of presence, and the privilege of supporting individuals and families through some of life's most challenging transitions.

I earned my Master's in Clinical Social Work from the University of Houston and have experience in inpatient and outpatient addiction treatment, as well as in acute psychiatric care at the Menninger Clinic in Houston. In my work, I saw how often addiction and divorce intersect, impacting not just the individual, but the entire family system. This led me to become a Certified Divorce Coach®, with specializing in Divorce Transition and Recovery®, so I can better support clients navigating these complex and often overlapping challenges.

Over time, I recognized a gap in care. Many people, whether early in recovery or years into sobriety, still felt stuck or uncertain about what came next. Families often felt lost as well, unsure how to support their loved one. I saw both the individual and the family navigating challenges that weren't being fully addressed.

This led me to expand beyond the clinical setting into coaching, where I support individuals at all stages of their sobriety journey, families impacted by addiction, those navigating the challenges of divorce and young adults who feel stuck or unsure how to move forward into adulthood.

Today, my work integrates clinical insight with real-world coaching to help individuals and families move through change in a steady, sustainable way, rebuild stronger relationships and step into a life that feels more like their own.

I encourage clients to stay grounded in their values, envision what's possible, and take intentional steps toward it. My goal is simple, to help you move forward with strength, direction, and a renewed sense of possibility. We’re all a work in progress, and you don't have to do it alone.
